How to train you child to eat vegetables?

It all started by innovating foods from boring Aroz Caldos and expensive baby foods for the twins while they were about 4-5 months old. I would normally rush home to prepare my own processed food for them.  Among the veggies that I tried their favorites are horse radish and broccoli (still expensive yet at least I'm the one preparing it).

How to start with the training?
Once they can tolerate soft diets try this recipe at home:

Mashed Potato
What you will need?
4 pcs Potatoes
1 tbs  Butter
Food Processor

Preparation:
Bring to boil 4 pcs of potatoes (do not peel yet, you won't like it soaked with water).  Once tender enough, remove the potatoes from the pan and allow to cool down.  Peel the potato and then cut into dice/pieces.

Put them in the food processor and mix with your butter.  I normally mash it for a minute or two and the texture is so great.  Your kids will start loving and exploring new textures while at the same time enjoy the new flavor. There will be initial resistance but keep on trying, the child will get used to it.

Using the same process you can also try Broccoli, Mixed Vegetables and other Veggies.  Try also carrot sticks for a snack not only they are healthy it's cost efficient too!
