So anyone who thought raising three kids is easy, is wrong. I got a 6 year-old boy and a 3 year-old twin. Everyday is like a roller coaster ride being around with them but it pays to see every single development they have. They're my consolation.

Military day
Today is a guilt day. I knew for a fact that Aug 31 is the celebration of VNBC's Linggo ng Wika. Once again I missed the activity, I had to attend to our company's agent summit and besides the company president was here earlier.

Defense mechanism
Blaze had too much fun when a butterfly was placed on his palm. I didn't realize until then that it is a butterfly's defense mechanism to pretend like dead when placed on a palm.
Suddenly when dropped it flew away as if nothing happened. Wow...the marvels of life continues to amaze me!

Our Baby is now 7
Our first born son finally turned 7. We were suppose to be out of town to Bohol on a day trip but due to some circumstances we decided to stay in town and moved the Bohol trip to next week.
It was a perfect idea to have a double celebration since Uncle Garry is also celebrating his birthday too. He was assigned to check some places where we would host an exclusive celebration for the entire family.
Perfect choice of food Uncle Garry, these all look so yummy and taste delicious too |
We chose The Grand Convention, the place is just perfect for the celebration. Present were the Dy, Cortes, Bollozos and Plaza's family.
Our youngest baby Allen seemed really hungry. |
He's been very tired from the afternoon's activity |
At church prior to going to the Kidz Planet |
Catching Kuya James posing at the Zippy |
The best photo I got so far of the two birthday boys |
After four hours of playing at the Kidz Planet, Brunson and the boys couldn't resist food. This is a very good Bacon Roll at Koreayum. |
Finally they settled down from too much running around the room |
There you go! Another pose from Kuya James. |
Blaze still feeling heavy about the whole event |
Earlier back at JCenter Mall while the boys are at the Kidz Planet the girls went hand and feet pampering. Afterwards all got starved. This was at Koreayum while we were waiting for our orders. |
At least I got this photo back at District 50. It's really a challenge to having the boys pose for mom. |
Blaze is still Kuya James favorite boy. |
Moment with the birthday boy |
Brunson was making faces avoiding the shots of Auntie Mitcha. |
Kuya Arlan and Bruno after their wine session at the Winkouske proceeded to the celebration. |
One of the moment that my boys really love is having their daddy show some tricks |
Brunson pretending not to look at the camera |
The three boys were proud and happy to be riding the zipline. |

Brunson is turning 7
Wow how time flies and Brunson's going to be seven on Sunday. I am happy for this young lad while at the same time nervous for what the future has to offer him. It's more exciting to prepare for his day but I got sad today since both his grandma might not make it to his out-of-town-wish.
Well well well...that's the way its got to be. Perhaps we can plan another get-away but not off the island or maybe another activity where the kids will enjoy. Wheew...just so so hard to be a mother.

How to train you child to eat vegetables?
It all started by innovating foods from boring Aroz Caldos and expensive baby foods for the twins while they were about 4-5 months old. I would normally rush home to prepare my own processed food for them. Among the veggies that I tried their favorites are horse radish and broccoli (still expensive yet at least I'm the one preparing it).
How to start with the training?
Once they can tolerate soft diets try this recipe at home:
Mashed Potato
What you will need?
4 pcs Potatoes
1 tbs Butter
Food Processor
Preparation:
Bring to boil 4 pcs of potatoes (do not peel yet, you won't like it soaked with water). Once tender enough, remove the potatoes from the pan and allow to cool down. Peel the potato and then cut into dice/pieces.
Put them in the food processor and mix with your butter. I normally mash it for a minute or two and the texture is so great. Your kids will start loving and exploring new textures while at the same time enjoy the new flavor. There will be initial resistance but keep on trying, the child will get used to it.
Using the same process you can also try Broccoli, Mixed Vegetables and other Veggies. Try also carrot sticks for a snack not only they are healthy it's cost efficient too!
